Items I’d Be Adding to My Wishlist If I Didn’t Already Have Them
I’ve always loved hearing about people’s favorite pieces and products, and I’m always ready to offer my own recommendations when someone asks. So today, I’m diving into a list of things I’d absolutely want if I didn’t already own them. From skincare and makeup to clothes, shoes, and everything in between, these are the items I can’t get enough of and would recommend in a heartbeat. I get how hard it can be to trust reviews these days, but just know that anything on this list is something I genuinely love and would stand by. That said, what works for me might not work for everyone, but these are the things I swear by.

I used to be that person who’d wander through the aisles of Sephora or Target, picking up any skincare product that caught my eye. I loved trying new things, but I eventually realized that wasn’t the best approach for my skin. For over a year now, I’ve been using only one skincare brand, and I can honestly say it’s transformed my complexion.
I swear by Ilike Organic Skincare. You know how people say your skincare should be good enough to eat? Well, with these products, you actually could. While they’re on the pricier side, they last forever. I go through maybe 2-3 bottles of each product a year, which actually ends up saving me money in the long run by preventing me from buying random products online. You can find them on Amazon, but I recommend double-checking the seller. Personally, I order from a local spa in my town, and if you’re interested, I’d be happy to connect you with her.
These products cater to a variety of skin types— I personally use the line designed for rosacea, but my mom uses their products tailored for mature skin. The products I was able to find on Amazon are linked below!

I’m always open to trying new makeup products, but I’m careful to check the ingredients to make sure they’re not pore-clogging. There are so many great websites that can help with that.
One product that’s quickly become a favorite is the Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Medium Coverage Foundation. I highly recommend trying it in person to find your perfect shade, as it can be a bit tricky. I use a ‘warm’ shade, even though my skin doesn’t have warm undertones, and it still works well. It pairs beautifully with the Rare Beauty Warm Wishes Effortless Cream Bronzer Stick, which I use every single day— another great non-pore-clogging product.
Kaja Juicy Glass Lip Oils are another favorite of mine. To be transparent, they sent me these products, but I would definitely buy them again. My sister constantly steals mine from my makeup bag! Some of the shades leave a tint that lasts for hours, which I love.
I used to think setting sprays were a gimmick until I tried the One Size On ‘Til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray. Now, I can’t go back to anything else. It’s a mid-range price point for setting sprays, so I reserve it for when I really need my makeup to last. But let me tell you—it’s so worth it!

I honestly love so many clothes and shoes in my closet, so narrowing this down was a challenge, but these are my current favorites. As an Iowa girl, the winters here can be brutally cold, but I’m not always willing to sacrifice style for warmth. My North Face Hydrenalite Hooded Puffer Jacket has been a game-changer. It keeps me super warm, but the cropped design gives it a more fashionable feel, making it perfect for winter days.
My current favorite shoes are the Veja V-90 Sneakers. I wear them to work every single day because they’re so comfortable. Since our dress code is business casual, I love pairing them with jeans and a sweater. What I really love about them is how versatile they are—I can easily wear them both in the office and outside of it.
I’ve been loving barre classes lately, and right now, I’m obsessed with the Free People Never Better Colorblock Ringer Bra. The mix of colors is so fun, and it’s incredibly supportive. Although I have a smaller chest, I think it would work well for everyone. The open back adds a stylish touch, and the base colors are usually neutrals, making it easy to pair with any neutral leggings!
Brandy Melville can be a controversial brand because of their one-size-fits-all approach, but I can’t help but love their pajama sets. My current favorite is the Keira Striped Pajama Shorts. They’re incredibly affordable, and while I recommend drying them to prevent the bottoms from shrinking, it’s definitely worth it for the price. One thing to note is that it can be tricky to tell if the top and bottom match on their website since they’re sold separately.
Abercrombie Essential Hoodies have been my go-to for a while now, and I’ve even been gifting them to my boyfriend. Honestly, almost everyone in my family owns one because they’re just that good. I love pairing them with jeans and a fun pair of sneakers or just wearing them for a relaxed day at home.

Everyone’s heard of the Skinreality face towels, which are insanely overpriced for something you’re just going to throw away. While I do think skipping a towel has helped improve my skin, I’ve found a hack that saves me a ton of money. I use Kleenex Hand Paper Towels, which cost just a little over three dollars for a 60-count pack—such a bargain compared to those pricey alternatives. I’ve also been on the lookout for a more eco-friendly, recyclable, or biodegradable option that’s still affordable, so if anyone has any recommendations, feel free to send them my way!
The Sonderhaus “Our Month Planner” is one of my favorite items in my apartment—it really adds a cozy, homey touch. I’ve never been a fan of most wall calendars because they’re usually pretty ugly, but this one is super cute. I have it right on my fridge, and I love that you can just tear off the month once it’s over.
The LifePro Infrared Sauna Blanket has quickly become one of my favorites. There’s nothing better than relaxing on the couch, getting some work done or watching a show, while also sweating it out. I’ll admit, I was skeptical at first, but now I absolutely love it. It heats up to 176 degrees, and trust me, you’ll definitely be sweating. I always use it while wearing a sweatshirt, sweatpants or leggings, and socks, because the blanket does get pretty hot against your skin.
I’ve had so many people stop me because of this perfume—once even by a Chipotle worker while I was in line. It’s the Prada Paradoxe Eau de Parfum, which the website describes as a ‘floral ambery fragrance,’ and I couldn’t agree more. I tend to wear this one at night, especially when I’m going out, and it often goes on sale, which is a bonus!
Last but definitely not least, my Oura Ring (Heritage Gen3). I know it’s been all over the internet lately, but honestly, it lives up to the hype. I’ve been going to barre classes recently, and while I’m not sure how accurate the tracking is for that, it’s been spot-on for tracking steps, sleep, cycle information, and everything else. It’s truly been such a great addition to my routine.
